Common conditions

Pre and Post Op Radical Prostatectomy Advice and Exercise

For men newly diagnosed with prostate cancer, the research indicates that guided pelvic floor exercises prior to surgery makes the critical difference to minimising the impact of post-operative urinary incontinence.

Bladder issues

    • Urinary incontinence
    • Urgency/frequency in the day or night
    • Bladder emptying issues

Bowel issues

    • Constipation/straining/obstructed defaecation
    • Faecal or wind incontinence
    • Haemorrhoidal or rectal prolapse

Pelvic Pain & Sexual Dysfunction

Pudendal neuralgia (compression/irritation of the Pudendal Nerve) can cause a range of symptoms from severe pain in the pelvis/genitals, bladder symptoms, and erectile dysfunction or ejaculatory issues.

    • Rectal pain (Chronic Proctalgia, or Proctalgia Fugax)
    • Bladder Pain Syndrome
    • Coccyx pain
